Content

An incomplete order (the first few lines seem to be missing). Based on other documents in this corpus, it was sent from al-Dīwān al-Ikhtiyārī to the muqaddams of six villages (Sparf, Band Ilīzh, Shāristay, Khāy, Pūza-yi ʿUlya, and Anwargird; see also Firuzkuh 32), instructing them to hand over all the abandoned property in these villages. An additional instruction is given on the tithe of one of those villages (Sparf), in which the villagers are instructed to collect the tithe (ʿushr) in the presence of the muʿtamid ʿAlī b. ʿAbd al-Rashīd, who is responsible for any errors that may occur in the tax collection process.
