ایـ[ن] خطیست کی نبشته آمد از اقرار منک مبارک جمال الدین  2
محمد فقیه از ده دفار (؟) وقت اقرار به قسبه استیب  3
بر آن جمله که با عیال خود خاتو زندگانی نیکو کنم  4
با او هیچ ضلمی نه کنم بی جرم نه زنم و اگر بی جرم 5
شرعی بزنم یا جفا به گویم پاء خود به یک طلاق  6
پای بگاشاید و کابی در زمتی وی لازیم باشد  7
این خط بدادم تا حجت باشد بتاریخ ماه جمیدا الاول سنه سبع و ستمائه  8
9 اقرار بحضور من بود و کتبه محمد الحسین ستیوی بیده و کتبه علی محمد احمد الموهونی [؟]
10 و کتبه محمد علی بو نصر بامره و کتبه محمد علی  محمد بیده
Translation

1 [Bismillāh ?]
2 This is a document that has been written as an acknowledgement by me, Mubārak b. Jamāl al-Dīn 
3 Muḥammad Faqīh, resident of the village of Daffār [?], presently, at the time of acknowledgement, in the town of Istīb,
4 [I acknowledge] the following: I will live a good life with my wife, Khātū.
5 I will not commit any injustice against her, or beat her when she is faultless. And if I beat her without a sharīʿa-sanctioned fault
6 or talk to her improperly, she can release herself from her marital duty with a single [pronouncement of] divorce, [and] 
7 she will need to pay back the dower. 
8 I have given [her] this document so that it may serve as proof, on the date of the month of Jumāda I in the year 607.
9 The acknowledgement was made, in my presence. Muḥammad b. al-Ḥusayn Stīwī wrote it in his hand. ʿAlī b. Muḥammad b. Aḥmad al-Mawhūnī wrote it.
10 It was written at the instruction of Muḥammad b. ʿAlī b. Bū Naṣr. Muḥammad b. ʿAlī b. Muḥammad wrote it in his hand.
