 الحمد لوليه 2
 مکتوب شریف آن بزرگوار رسید و خوانده شد 3
 و آنچ از لطف مردمیها یاد کرده بود معلوم گشت 4
 ازان خداوند بدیع نباشد ایزد تعالی از کل آفات 5
 و بلیات نگاه داراد بحق محمد و آله و خواجه 6
 پدر را خدمت ما برساند و جمال الدین عمر سلام  7
 [تحیت (؟) و فرزند (؟)] مسعود را سلام و ازین جانب 8
 [+ 5 بر]سانند 9
Translation
Folio:
1                 ʿUmar b. Muḥammad b. ʿAlī, his slave.
2  Praise to the One who deserves it.
3  The distinguished letter of this noble one has arrived and been read,
4  and the acts of kindness he has reiterated are noted.
5  It is nothing new about this lord. May God almighty 
6  protect [you] from all troubles and calamities through Muḥammad and his family.
7  Please send our respects to [your] father, the khwāja. [Please also send our] greetings to Jamāl al-Dīn ʿUmar 
8  and to [your (?)] son, Masʿūd. From this side,
9  they will send [+/- 5]
