1 Abū Bakr b. ʿUmar
العزه لله وحده 2
2 Greatness belongs to the only God.
سرهنکی کی موکلست بداند کی از جمله دویست بنجاه من کندم 3
3 The commander in charge [of the relevant jurisdiction] shall know that out of 250 mann of wheat
کی از ان بهرام (؟) حاجی (؟) بود سیزده من باقی ماندست 4
4 which belong to Bahrām-i Ḥājjī [?], thirteen have remained [undelivered].
یا براة سیزده من بستاند یا کندم بستاند دیکر دست 5
5 [You] shall either obtain [from him] a barāt for [the value] of thirteen mann or the grain [owed in-kind]. That shall
از ایشان بدارد کی با برزکران معاملت درست کردند 6
6 be all, since the tax payment [for all other] farmers have [now] been sorted,
و باقی جز سیزده من بیش ما نماندست تا ورا معلوم بود 7
7 and nothing else is outstanding other than these thirteen mann [of wheat]. [Please] take note so you are aware,
ازین جمله حقوق شناسد و مهم داند ان شا الله تعالی 8
8 and understand the policy [?] (ḥuqūq) and its importance, if God almighty is willing.
