Folio:
1 between khwāja Aḥmad b. Haydar and [+ 2]
2 from Sangīn, known as Jāghur (?). When Ḥasan passed away,
3 he, this Ḥasan b. ʿAlī, had two grown sons from another wife.
4 But from this wife, Fāṭima bt. Muḥammad b. al-Ḥasan,
5 he had a son and a daughter. This Fāṭima took the children
6 to Murghāb. At the time of the face-to-face session, she nominated her brother, ʿUmar b. Muḥammad,
7 as her representative to: “sell the half [share] of the yearling bull, which
8 is co-owned by khwāja Aḥmad b. Ḥaydar, and deliver the payment to us, so that
9 we cover the children’s living expenses.” On the date the 26th of the month of Ramaḍān,
10 this ʿUmar b. Muḥammad appeared at the court and brought along khwāja Aḥmad b. Haydar,
11 and sold the half of this mentioned yearling bull
12 for 12 dīnārs with my permission as the presiding qāḍī at the time.
13 He took the full payment. I instructed ʿUmar
14 to deliver [it] to the children. I handed this document to khwāja Aḥmad b. Ḥaydar,
15 so that if after this, Fāṭima makes a claim, it shall be invalid.
16 ʿUmar b. Muḥammad obliged to
1     deliver these sales proceeds to the children. If Fāṭima
2     makes a claim at a later point, ʿUmar b. Muḥammad fully liable
3     to answer [for any losses]. I handed this document to khwāja Aḥmad b. Ḥaydar,
4      so that no child of Ḥasan b. ʿAlī
5     can make a claim against him; and if they do, it shall be invalid.
6     And this [was written] on the date of the 26th of the month of Ramaḍān,
7     may God magnify reward, in the year 564 (?).
8 Aḥmad b. ʿAlī al-ḥakīm wrote this.
9 Sulaymān b. ʿAlī al-ḥakīm, Witnesses: Faqīh ʿUmar b. al-Ḥasan, the farmer,
10   shaykh ʿAlī, the farmer,
11 Sulaymān b. ʿAlī al-ḥakīm,
