Content
This is one of three Arabic land sale documents from Yarkand which Huart received from Pelliot to study. The original was accompanied by a modern transcription. This a land sale document dated Shawwāl 505/ April 1112 and concerns the purchase of an estate, including a manor house, vineyards and orchards for 700 dirhams, weighted against simple, pure, red gold.
