Content
An order sent from al-Dīwān al-Ikhtiyārī to the muqaddams of four villages to collect the tithe (ʿushr) in the presence of the muʿtamid ʿAlī b. ʿAbd al-Rashīd (here called khwāja). A second instruction is given regarding the delivery of grain by several individuals. The order appears to be attached to a state document called “list” (tafṣīl), possibly a list of tax assessments.
