هذه براة من هشام بن محمد عامل الامير محمد 2
بن حبيب حفظه الله على وسبا ورزم ومدر 3
للقاروال بن مير انك اديت الى مما صار 4
عليك فى قصر يسكن من خراج سنة سبع و 5
خمسين وماية وقسم شهر سنة سبع 6
وخمسين وماية ثلثة دراهم ودانق منها من 7
الخراج درهمين ودانق ومن القسم درهم 8
قبضت ذلك منك وبرئت الى منها 9
وكتب فى جمادى الاولى سنة سبع 10
وخمسين وماــــــــــــــــــــــــية 11
Translation
Folio:
1 In the name of God, the Merciful and Compassionate.
2 This is a quittance from Hishām b. Muḥammad, the financial administrator of the governor Muḥammad
3 b. Ḥabīb, may God preserve him, (whose jurisdiction is) over Wasbā (?), Rizm and Madr,
4 to al-Qārwāl b. Mīr. You have delivered to me what you owe
5 in the citadel of Yaskin with regard to the kharāj for the year
6 one-hundred and fifty-seven, and the monthly portions of the year
7 one hundred and fifty-seven, three dirhams and one dānaq. Of these,
8 two dirhams and one dānaq are for the kharāj and one dirham is for the portions.
9 I have received that from you and you have been released from (the obligation to pay) them to me.
10 It has been written in Jumādā I of the year
11 one hundred and fifty-seven.
