هذه براة من الحسن بن فروخ عامل 2
الامير غالب اصلحه الله على رزم ومدر 3
لقاروال بن مير انك اديت الى مما صار عليك 4
فى قصر يسكن وغندر من خراج سنة ثلث 5
وخمسين وماية وتوابعه من القسم درهمين و 6
ثلثى درهم منها من الخراج درهمين ومن 7
القسم اربعة دونيق قبضت ذلك 8
منك وبرئت الى منها وكتب فى صفر 9
سنة خمس وخمسين وماية 10
Translation
Folio:
1 In the name of God the Merciful and Compassionate.
2 This is a quittance from al-Ḥasan b. Farrukh, the financial administrator
3 of the governor Ghālib, may God grant him prosperity, (whose jurisdiction is) over Rizm and Madr,
4 to Qārwāl b. Mīr. You have delivered to me what you owe
5 in the citadel of Yaskin and Ghandar with regard to the kharāj for the year
6 one hundred and fifty-three, and the portions that are linked to it, two dirhams and
7 two thirds of a dānaq. Of these, two dirhams are for the kharāj and
8 four dānaqs are for the portions. I have received that
9 from you and you have been released from (the obligation to pay) them to me. It has been written in Ṣafar
10 of the year one hundred and fifty-five.
