هذه براة من الحرث بن عبد الله عامل 2
الامير عبد الله بن الجرود على مدر و 3
رزم لمهم الباميانى انك اديت 4
الى مما صار عليك من خراج سنة 5
ثمان وتسع وخمسين وحدى وخمسين ومائة 6
وتوابعه من القسم درهمين قبضت 7
ذلك منك وبرئت الى منها وكتب 8
فى جمادى الاولة فى سنة 9
ثلث وخمسين ومائة 10
Translation
Folio:
1 In the name of God, the Merciful and Compassionate.
2 This is a quittance from al-Ḥārith b. ʿAbdallāh, the financial administrator
3 of the governor ʿAbdallāh b. al-Jarūd, (whose jurisdiction is) over Madr and
4 Rizm, to Meham al-Bāmiyānī. You have delivered
5 to me what you owe with regard to kharāj for the year
6 one hundred and (forty-)eight, (forty-)nine, fifty and fifty-one,
7 and the portions that are linked to it, two dirhams. I have received
8 that from you and you have been released from (the obligation to pay) them to me. It has been written
9 in Jumādā I of the year
10 one hundred and fifty-three.
