هذه براة من اسحق بن عبد الحميد عامل الامير محمد بن حبيب على مدر ورزم 2
لقاروال بن {بن} بير انك اديت الى مما صار عليك فى 3
قصر يسكن وغندر من خراج سنة خمس وخمسين وماية وتوابعه 4
من القسم درهمين وخمسة دونيق منها من القسم اربعة دونيق واربعة 5
اجزا ومن الخراج درهمين وثمنية اجزا قبضت ذلك 6
منك وبرئت الى منها وكتـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــب 7
فى شعبان سنة سبع وخمسين ومـــــــــــــــــاية 8
Translation
Folio:
1 In the name of God, the Merciful and Compassionate.
2 This is a quittance from Isḥāq b. ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd, the financial administrator of the governor Muḥammad b. Ḥabīb, (whose jurisdiction is) over Madr and Rizm,
3 to Qārwāl b. Mīr. You have delivered to me what you owe in
4 the citadel of Yaskin and Ghandar with regard to the kharāj for the year one hundred and fifty-five, and the portions that are linked to it,
5 two dirhams and five dānaqs. Of these, four dānaqs and four parts (of a dānaq) are for the portions
6 and two dirhams and eight parts (of a dānaq) are for the kharāj. I have received that
7 from you and you have been released from (the obligation to pay) them to me. It has been written
8 in Shaʿbān of the year one hundred and fifty seven.
