بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم 1
هذا كتاب من شهاب بن عمرو 2
عامل الامير ابى غالب بن الاصبهبذ 3
اعز الله نصره على مدر ورزم براة لمير بن 4
بك انى قبضت منك مما صار عليك 5
من خراج سنة ثمان واربعين ومية 6
عشرة دراهم قبضت ذلك منك 7
وبرئت الى منها وكتب فى صفر 8
سنة خمسين ومـــــــــــــــــــــــية 9
Translation
Folio:
1 In the name of God, the Merciful and Compassionate.
2 This is a document from Shihāb b. ʿAmr,
3 the financial administrator of the governor Abū Ghālib b. al-Iṣbahbadh,
4 may God strengthen his victory, (whose jurisdiction is) over Madr and Rizm, a quittance for Mīr b.
5 Bēk. I have received from you what you owe
6 with regard to the kharāj of the year one hundred and forty-eight
7 ten dirhams. I have received that from you
8 and you have been released from (the obligation to pay) them to me. It has been written in Sṭafar
9 of the year one hundred and fifty.
