هذا كتاب من عمرو بن مرزوق 2
عامل الامير جرير بن ماهان على مدر ورزم اكرمه الله 3
براة لباب بن بيك انك 4
اديت الى مما صار عليك من خراج سنة تسع 5
واربعين ومية وخراج سنة خمسين ومية 6
والقسم التى تجرى معهما ثمنية عشر درهما 7
ودانقين ونصف قبضت ذلك منك وبرئت 8
الى منها وكتب فى صفر سنة اثنين وخمسين ومية 9
Translation
Folio:
1 In the name of God, the Merciful and Compassionate.
2 This is a document from ʿAmr b. Marzūq,
3 the financial administrator of the governor Jarīr b. Māhān, (whose jurisdiction is over Madr and Rizm, may God grant him honour,
4 a quittance for Bāb b. Bēk. You
5 have delivered to me what you owe with regard to the kharāj for the year
6 one hundred and forty-nine and the kharāj for the year one hundred and fifty,
7 and the portions that are administered with them, eighteen dirhams
8 and two dānaqs and a half. I have received that from you and you have been released
9 from (the obligation to pay) them to me. It has been written in Sṭafar of the year one hundred and fifty-two.
